Abstract:
The incumbent is a middle-age mature professional, who has enjoyed a sophisticated exposure to sales and distribution of consumer or industrial products.
He should be a Syrian national, with a strong motive to relocate to his mother country, in order to contribute to the enhancement of sales and marketing practices.
Key Objectives:
Has the will power to get fully immersed in the agricultural business segment with a purpose to:
• Get acquainted with, and leverage the business model.
• Carry a full due diligence, and revisit the current market segmentation, distribution channels and sales organization.
• Set up a sales planning system, and cascade it down to the lowest sales echelon.
• Conduct a market survey to identify potential by region and product, and realign sales and market strategy accordingly.
• Implement a performance management system, which will boost sales results in a sustainable manner.
• Build a sales information system, which will help monitor results, and anticipate market changes.
• Review the strategic options at stake, and recommend courses of action (e.g. manufacturing v/s trading).
• Motivate and coach the sales force in order to drive superior performance in terms of sales objectives, collection target, and customer risk management.
• Maintain smooth coordination with product managers
• Participate in preparation of marketing strategies
• F/U with logistic department orders status
• Recruit and disseminate new blood throughout the sales organization in order to alleviate performance by bolstering internal emulation.

• Distinct knowledge in sales management, he is able to implement proven sales planning and control processes and techniques.
• Recognized leader, he is able to recruit, manage, inspire and retain a solid sales force.
• Endowed with marketing flair, he is able to dissect the market in order to anticipate changes, and realign initiatives, while maintaining focus and a solid grip on the field.
• A team player, he will instill a fair play spirit across the team, and will foster cooperation and open channels’ communication.
• Performance driven, he manages by objectives and results with an eye on margins and bottom line.
Profile:
• A business / economics graduate or MBA from a reputed university. A degree in Agriculture would be a distinctive advantage.
• At least 7 years of experience in the capacity of sales / or business unit manager in a sophisticated FMCG or industrial product environment.
• Mid-thirty to mid-forty, the incumbent has enjoyed a regional or international exposure, and is fluent in Arabic and English. French is an asset.
• IT Skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook
• Good family background; strong personality; decision maker; good communication skills; perseverant; takes initiative; good team builder
Work conditions:
• 2000 to 3000$/month
• Insurance, Bonus, Transportation, Social Security
• Working hours: 9/day
