Our customer for the training SAP consultant (Logistics) is part of a IT Business Consultancy organization with a specific focus on implementation of and support for various ERP applications, among which SAP.
This IT consultancy organization exists for 3 years now and employs approximately 100 consultants. The ambition is to grow to 300 ERP specialists in the next two years.
As the clients of our customer are among the top 500 multinational enterprises, the customer"s organization has - apart from its headoffice in The Netherlands - also subsidiaries in China and the USA, to guarantee a worldwide support to their clients.
In addition to hiring experienced SAP consultants, our customer has its own "Academy" to train suitable candidates for the various consultant roles within the SAP environment.
Job description
The training / the job
The training SAP Consultant (Logistics) is open for individuals with substantial experience with logistic business processes and a background/education on bachelor level. Knowledge of ERP / SAP applications is a pré, but not necessary.
In the training the (inter)connection between business processes and specific SAP modules will be the central issue. Through a practical approach, knowledge will be gathered about the implementaion of the various SAP modules for specific application in the various business processes.
The term business process may be broadly interpreted and include for instance:
• Purchase and sales
• Warehousing, distribution and transport
• Production processes
• Financial processes.
For a (SAP) consultant, the following are important issues:
• Knowledge of / experience with business processes
(how does a business operate)
• Consultancy skills
(creation and implementation of solutions)
• Specific application knowledge
(how does the IT appliction work)
The participants will be trained to become a SAP consultant, specialized in the system modules that are relevant for them c.q. for which they have chosen. They will be involved in SAP implementations / projects all over The Netherlands and International.
NB:
Those candidates that passed the selection will be offered a job, while the employer will cover all the costs for the training(s), the practical guidance and the necessary SAP certifications.
Job requirements
• Working and thinking on a bachelor/master level;
• Finished relevant (logistic) education on a bachelor level;
• At least three (3) years of (recent) experience with logistic business processes;
• Clear affinity with computerized business systems;
• Excellent communication skills and representative appearence;
• Good language skills in Dutch and/or English, oral as well as in writing;
• Affinity with c.q. talent for consultancy work;
• Initiative, pro-active and curious attitude;
• Flexibel with regard to travel- and working hours;
• Knowledge of ERP application (preferrably SAP) is a pré;
• Knowledge of design and development of IT systems is a pré.
