| Description: |
A highly respected European Main Contractor with an annual turnover of circa USD800 million and operating throughout the Middle East requires an experienced Commissioning Engineer for thier Power Plant project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
They are seeking a degree (or equivlent) qualified individual in Process (Chemical) or Mechanical or Electrical/ I & C with around 15 years experience in commissioning of power plants (preferably Flue Gas Desulphurization - FGD), or industrial Plants. Experience in commissioning of large capacity Turbine Pumps, Air Blowers, and Booster Fans for Flue Gas etc.

We have following Systems/Equipment
FGD System (Flue Gas Desulphurization),
• Booster Fan :Capacity 900,00 Nm3/hr
• Sea Water Pumps :3 each= 36000m3/hr & 4 each=12000m3/hr
• Oxidation Blowers :3 each= 38000m3/hr
• Flue Gas Duct Damper Actuators : (Modulating)22m2 & on-off 36m2
• Scrubbers for Flue Gas Desulphurization :900,000 Nm3/hr
• MV/LV Substations, (Transformers & Switchgears):13.8KV & 4.16KV
• DCS (for overall Project) :ABB Melody
• Gas Analyzers
• Valve Actuators : Rotork
• Analyzers/Instrumentation : Sick Maihak, Fox boro, Rosemount etc
Other Boiler Related equipment
• Electrostatic Precipitators,
• Air Heaters/Soot Blowers
Responsibilities will include:
1. Collect all required data (Pre-Comm, Commissioning and Startup procedure) from the manufacturers (request by emails and follow up until all the info is received.
2. Write and complete the data (Pre-Comm, Commissioning and Startup procedure) and get approved it by the consultant and client
3. Schedule the (Pre-Comm, Commissioning and Startup procedure) activities and book the Manufacturer Representatives
4. Co-ordinate with site to ensure the readiness of systems/Equipment and carryout the preparation for Pre-Comm & Commissioning.
5. Liaise with client/consultants.
6. Carryout the activities of Pre-Comm, Commissioning and Startup with commissioning team and with the support of construction teams
7. Should be prepared with the knowledge of tolerances allowed by the standards or Manufacturer instruction for the results which are not in line with satisfactory limits.
8. Prepare Reports and get signed by all parties.
