Job Description:
BITASOFT is seeking talented and professional Visual & Web UI Developers. This role requires the ability to translate creative concepts into digital reality through HTML, JavaScript and Flash technical skills. You will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of digital products and websites developed for BITASOFT and external clients. Working in a team environment, you will create attractive and innovative Web 2.0 user interface designs that are powerful, easy to use, highly customizable & reusable.
Responsibilities:
As a Visual & UI Developer you will:
* Work with our cross functional teams of analysts, developers and graphic designers to translate business objectives into :
* Attractive visual concepts and innovative HTML solutions (web 2.0 and Flash) that are powerful, easy to use and highly customizable.
* Work with the Web UI Specialist to ensure best practices and web standards are applied across projects as well as address and refine usability and accessibility.
* Produce standards-compliant client side code for projects with X/DHTML, JavaScript and Flash (or other relevant client side technologies).
* Assist CMS and application developers to improve usability and lovability of web UIs on our projects and products
* Customize and extend existing designs and provide support in simple design work such as file prep, digital output, and photo editing
* Develop knowledge and expertise with current widgets & web toolkits (such as Dojo, Scriptaculous, other) for use on client projects and in product development
* Ensure that our web deliveries remain at the bleeding edge of digital design by remaining up to date on web trends and technologies

| Capacités Requises: |
As a Visual & UI developer in BITASOFT, you have limited experience but can demonstrate tremendous aptitude and motivation. At a minimum you have:
* University degree from an accredited University
* 1+ year work experience as a web developer with some of these technologies: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript,ActionScript, Flex, Silveright , CSS, etc...
* A passion for web trends and technologies and design
* Basic understanding of and willingness to embrace web standards, cross browser compatibility issues and best practices.
* Solid creative and visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and design consistency, graphics optimization and related compression techniques for the web, typesetting, photography, illustration, color, and design specifications.
* Good understanding of project lifecycle processes.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize, and ensure that all production deadlines are met
* A proactive nature with resourcefulness to identify challenges and propose solutions
* Fluent written and spoken English and French
* A team player with a great attitude towards your colleagues and love for your fellow man |
