Pagoda Academy was founded in 1969 with the objective of developing foreign language education in Korea . With the help of great teachers we have been able to achieve enormous success and we would like to continue that tradition.
Pagoda is an all-adult group program that allows the teacher the support of a standardized program and the flexibility to develop each class with their own unique style of teaching.
You will be teaching classes to university students and professionals (max 12).
We need teachers to teach conversation, reading, writing, Business English and we also have a need for teachers who can teach reading and writing skills to students, who are looking to study at American and European universities.
Pagoda Academy is looking for experienced ESL teachers with a background in English education or with a degree in Education, English, Linguistics, TESOL or Fine Arts (Writing). We also look for teachers who have taken an Intensive course (DELTA, CELTA or TEFL) and are looking to use those skills to teach ADULTS. However, this is not to say that we don't accept applications from experienced Teachers who may have graduated in a different area of study (Business, Liberal Arts…). Some of our teachers were not formally trained as teachers, but through their experience, enthusiasm, work ethic and willingness to learn have become excellent teachers.

Pagoda is offering Korean Courses for foreigners. Classes begin at the beginning of every month. The price for all Pagoda/Direct English Instructors is 18,000 won and 80,000 won for all other students. Levels range from beginner to intermediate.
