The Deputy HSE Manager supports the lead HSE Manager and site management as well as all subcontractors in all issues and actions to be taken with respect to occupational health & safety. His essential duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Ø Advising and, where applicable, training site personnel in matters related to occupational health & safety, environmental protection and accident prevention in accordance with the pertinent accident prevention regulations.
Ø Planning and monitoring of accident alert and rescue services, including first-aid service; reporting of safety statistics.
Ø Coordinating and monitoring of fire prevention and protection concepts during plant construction.
Ø Conducting safety meetings and discussions as well as plant safety walkdowns; monitoring elimination of deficiencies.
Ø Identifying and inspecting hazards and working out corrective measures for their elimination.
Ø Liaisoning with the customer’s organization in questions of occupational health & safety, environmental protection and physical security.
Ø Monitoring the site personnel ID-card system and access authorization insofar as such checks fall within Siemens´ scope of responsibility.
Ø Preparing proposals for improving safety standards and observance thereof (e.g. as an incentive plant, etc.)
Ø Participation in or performance of safety audits.
Ø Adequate computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
Ø Provision of statistical Health, Safety & Environmental datas on a monthly basis

| Capacités Requises: |
Ø Certification of HSE Diploma, e.G. NEBOSH, IOSH, is mandatory
Ø Health check mandatory |
