-- Will be responsible for aiding in the ongoing design and implementation of a growing Teradata Data Warehouse environment.
-- Will be involved in database design, tuning, security and backup of the Data Warehouse.
-- Reviews data model and create physical representation of the model.
-- Perform system performance monitoring and analysis to identify and implement tuning opportunities.
-- Manage the profiles, roles and privileges of users.
-- Assist developers by reviewing code and suggesting better alternatives for performance.
-- Assist database users in tuning queries. |
| Capacités Requises: |
-- 3+ years Teradata DBA work including security, tuning and backup strategies
-- 3+ years of writing/maintaining database load scripts
-- Understanding of Data Warehouse and Customer Marketing principles
-- Thorough understanding of relational database concepts with strong SQL skills
-- Strong understanding of Teradata database and sql tuning strategies
-- Understanding of Teradata security including profiles, roles and privileges
-- Understanding of backup and recovery strategies
-- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-- Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements for a recommended technical solution
-- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
-- Ability to resolve conflicts in both a technical and business setting
