Requirements: As a Security Consultant you will be responsible for analysis, evaluation and recommendations for security solutions, followed by making technical design decisions to arrive at optimal design solutions. Much of the work will involve the definition of security concepts and architectures to support large scale building projects, systems integration, and preparation of final design documentation for all projects.
This position requires strong technical and Client facing skills as well as the ability to work with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate at least 8 years experience of which a minimum 5 years relevant experience in designing, deploying and supporting security systems on large mixed use building services projects:
• Security Management Systems.
• Security CCTV (Analog and IP Based).
• Access Control.
• Radio Frequency and RFID.
• Perimeter Security.
• Intrusion Alarm System
• Car Park Management.
• Safety and Loss Prevention.
• Building Management System.
• Fire Alarm System.
• Security related design knowledge of networking systems: LAN/WAN, Switches and Routing Protocols, Firewalls, VPN, Wireless Networks, Security.
Qualification: Applicants for this role must have a B.Sc. Degree in a security related discipline or possess extensive relevant technical / commercial experience, together with relevant professional certification.
