Primary Responsibilities:
• Researching best practices in the community corrections field (38 issue areas)
• Maintaining database of best practices with team of researchers for new website
• Monitoring and analyzing legislation related to the corrections field
• Responding to letters from inmate prior to release and parole
• Writing articles for ICCA’s e-newsletter, press releases, and website
• Taking notes at Board meetings and committee meetings
• Attending various Capitol Hill hearings and meetings
• Planning ICCA Annual “Doing What Works” Research Conferences, DC Community Corrections Policy Forums, and regional training workshops
• Performing general administrative duties, such as answering telephone, updating member records, and mailing membership solicitations and welcome packets

| Capacités Requises: |
Required Skills:
Students pursuing an undergraduate degree in criminal justice, political science, public policy studies or related fields;
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to work independently and cooperatively;
Varied computer skills a plus.
