Purpose & Scope
Carries out a range of compensation and benefits activities for all employees. Includes salary administration, fund management salary administration, performance appraisal, terminations and carrying out special compensation studies.
Functions / Responsiblities
Examines and recommends solutions to grading issues between AGOC and KJO. Such recommendations are submitted to the Head Compensation & Benefits for consideration and approval.
Takes part along with the Head Compensation & Benefits in special studies groups including merit and incentive programs and specialist compensation.
Assists the Head Compensation & Benefits in the execution of special studies covering any area of HR.
Completes all the HRIS requirements regarding AGOC fund membership.
Follows-up on the necessary AGOC Fund deductions (if member) in the system, to ensure that all back dated amounts have the correct contributions shown as a deduction.
Checks that details are correct in the joining form which is used to inform AGOC Fund of new hires. Checks the amounts and employment number of new employees.
Assists the Head Compensation & Benefits in coordinating the AGOC’s performance appraisal program. Includes confirmation of budget allocations, preparation of payment options for submission to the Manager Organization and Planning and ensuring that approved amounts are entered into the system.
Assists the Head Compensation & Benefits in undertaking various studies and surveys. Liaises with Aramco to obtain information.
Works with the Head Compensation & Benefits in developing annual plans and budgets.
Reviews all legal, social security and similar matters related to AGOC’s benefits, special Funds, presents recommendations to the Head of the divisions.
Follows-up on all compensation and benefits issues related to Saudi employees at KJO.
Prepares promotion request (with or without grades), suggesting promotion percentages after Organization and Manpower confirm this vacancy. Indicates effective date, enters new details in system and notifies the employee with copy to his supervisor. Formally approves increments in the system and checks to ensure that increments are back-dated appropriately.
Follows up on allowance changes as a result of promotion (with or without grade) and according to nationality.
Suggests to line managers initial offers that could be made to new hires and transfers from other departments or from KJO.
Works with Personnel Administration in determining the official salaries, termination and overtime purposes.
Provides advice on employees eligible for current year assessment.
Receives standard of performance (SOP) forms for all employees. Categorizes to grade and rating.
Once approval is obtained, enters details into the system, issues letters to individual employees (signed by either Manager, Personnel Administration or line manager), advising them of salary and, if applicable allowance and benefits changes.
Completes all the HRIS requirements regarding salary, all types of deductions, exemptions, allowances, etc.
Follows up on allowances differentials between KJO and AGOC. Makes adjustments in system for AGOC employees.
Produces monthly report showing all deductions. Reflects correct policy in applications for contributions.
Reviews installments reports, identifies employees whose installments started or ceased during the month.
Handles all documentation requirements for internal transfers within AGOC and between AGOC and KJO.
Handles “hold payments” for employees when required.
Advises new employees of options to join AGOC fund within maximum 6 months.
Carries out similar or related duties such as preparing memoranda and routine correspondence.

| Capacités Requises: |
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 years experience in Compensation & Benefits in a large organization.
Experience in middle east is desirable (preferebly Saudi Arabia)
