Responsibilities:
You will join the regions market leader as an Instrumentation Engineer and will be responsible for all mechanical and electrical engineering matters. The principle activities for this role are:
-Supervising all or a portion of the Contractor`s mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work, as assigned by the Resident Engineer, and take responsibility for the quality control and inspection.
-Assigning the inspection staff, if any, to monitor and inspect activities of the Contractor.
-Reviewing and action of the contractor`s submittals and shop drawings as assigned.
-Monitoring and reporting on the Contractor`s progress on a regular basis.
Observing site safety procedures, reporting violations and hazards to the Resident Engineer.
-Ensuring correctness and completeness of As Built drawings in coordination with the CAD staff.
Qualification:
To be considered candidates will need to satisfy the following selection criteria:
-Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
-8 years minimum relevant Site Supervision experience, with some experience in design is preferred in Water projects (pumping stations, reservoirs, pipelines).
-Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
