Requirements: • Degree in construction related activity.
• Minimum 10 years experience in construction, preferably PM/CM activity related, and in similar field as this position.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Arabic language abilities would be an asset, although not essential for the position.
• Able to produce good quality work with minimal supervision.
• Numerically literate.
• Fully IT conversant including, as a minimum, current practical experience of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Graphics software.
• Good team player and excellent communicator.
Key Duties: • Tracking and co-coordinating business opportunity progress for the whole of our clients PM-CM International.
• Preparation of business opportunities report and regular updating/circulation to designated our clients recipients.
• Maintaining register of win-loss ratios and other relevant business management statistics for each of the different activity areas: Project Management (PM), Construction Management (CM), Construction Supervision (CS); including different combinations of each.
• Monitoring and follow-up with the designated our clients point person for each business opportunity or, in that person’s absence, directly with the Client / Client’s representative.
• Focal point for internal receipt of all tender enquiries and for distribution of tender document copies and action lists within our client
• Co-coordinating the input of all our clients departments in the preparation of tenders including, but not limited to, arranging the review of tender & contract terms/conditions, checking requirements for bonds & insurances, preparing appropriate graphics/presentation material, technical submissions, risk reviews.
• Collating all necessary information, including pricing notes & qualifications, and compiling high quality proposal/tender documents for submission to Clients / Client’s representatives.
• Maintaining standard our clients approved formats for tender documents and our clients approved templates for pricing notes, etc.
• Establishing at the beginning of each new calendar year (and maintaining relevancy) of standard price build-ups for the whole range of PM, CM and CS positions for each of the countries in which our client operates.
• Preparation of our client format Financial Models (and/or checking FM’s produced by others), always ensuring consistency in approach and accuracy.
• Arranging our clients senior management approval sign-off of final FM’s prior to tender submission, including updating of previously submitted FM’s to reflect and clearly record senior management review comments at each stage of the tender settlement process.
• Maintaining a library of hard and soft copies of all tender submissions, including post-tender correspondence up to and including contract award.
• Arranging copies of relevant library documents for distribution to project teams upon contract award.
