Position Title: Senior Solaris Administrator
Location: Toronto, On
Reports To: Manager, Remote Server Management
Description: The incumbent will be involved in all aspects of Systems Administration, both hardware and software within a 24x7x365 data center.
Responsibilities:
· Work independently and as part of a team using his/her skills to solve customers’ technical issues in Unix (Sun Solaris) environment
· Provide after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation
· Work overtime from time to time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

| Capacités Requises: |
Qualifications:
1. Experience as a Solaris Administrator in a production environment/large data center
2. In-depth knowledge of SUN Solaris Operating System
3. In-depth knowledge of Sun Midrange and Enterprise hardware: servers and storage devices
4. Strong knowledge of Clustering software (Veritas Cluster and Sun Cluster)
5. Strong knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager and Sun Disk Suite
6. Strong knowledge of Global Zones, Containers, LDOM technology
7. Strong knowledge of Unix scripting
8. Experience in Root Cause analysis and Problem Determination processes
9. Experience with Disaster Recovery related processes
10. Experience with network, systems and application monitoring
11. Knowledge of Remote Server Management
12. Knowledge of basic networking and troubleshooting

1. Knowledge of Perl scripting
2. Knowledge of any of the following: Oracle, WebSphere, WebLogic, LDAP, Apache
