Do you have architectural project experience? Are you looking for a great opportunity to move back or re-locate to Halifax?
Our client, an established architectural firm, is in the process of strengthening the design capability and capacity of their firm. It is looking for experienced Architectural Technicians to complement its existing staff.
The successful candidates must be self-motivated, detail-focused solid team players, and exhibit strong communication skills. Experience in design, documentation and administration of larger projects would be an asset, as would computer skills on the Macintosh platform including abilities in VectorWorks, word processing and spreadsheet use.
Responsibilities would include:
• To produce documentation for projects within budgeted time and specified standards
• To prepare sketch schemes and studies
• Under instruction, to communicate effectively with client representatives and consultants
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Architectural Technology
• Proven Mac OS 10.4 (or newer) computer abilities, and VectorWorks 12.5 or 2008 and
SketchUp experience
• 5+ years of architectural project experience
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
