Our client is seeking an experienced Product and Sourcing Manager for a permanent role based in Qatar.
You will manage the sports apparel product operation throughout all aspects of the apparel development process to ensure timeliness, quality, profitability and creativity goals of the brand are met.
Your duties will include:
• Determine product specifications/details and communicate those to the factories.
• Define seasonal design briefs and ensures line develops in accordance with selling, market and trend influences.
• Adjust and improve the design and product development calendar to meet the needs of the business.
• Develop new and exciting manufacture programs using best in breed product.
• Work productively and efficiently with sales and marketing teams to co – ordinate the launch of new lines.
• Consolidate market trend and initiate product line plan for new season
• Initiate local product development
• Conduct product training to sales team
• Attend various trainings and meetings on product sourcing and predict market demand
• Analyze monthly inventory /sales report to provide action plan
• Maintain project grids to keep management/sales teams aware of current development.
• Routine checks of production samples to ensure quality/aesthetics are maintained from the factories.
• Coordinate delivery of market materials necessary for brand introduction and stay abreast of new developments in materials, processes and technology relevant to the apparel industry.
• Interpret brand direction for product team and factories.
To apply for the role you will possess the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, or related field, MBA is highly preferred
• Must have a minimum 3-5 years in manufacturing product experience in sports apparel or related field.
• The ideal candidate is a strong leader who has a high level of professional knowledge and a broad understanding of apparel product sourcing in a specialty retail environment.
• Must have high ability to work within given timelines under pressure.
• Must have high ability to work closely and give direction to contracted designers and manufactures.
In return you will receive a TAX FREE salary package of $80,000 - $110,000 USD per annum.
Please note the salary package includes benefits of housing and transportation included.
In addition to this you will also receive benefits including:

• 30 days paid vacation leave
• Worldwide Life & Medical Insurance coverage
