Summary
International Internet software company with offices in the Czech Republic and United Kingdom is seeking candidates for the position of Implementation Technician for its Prague and Podìbrady offices.
PrismaStar provides highly innovative and exciting software that helps shoppers make Better, Faster Decisions. Our patented, award-winning technology has generated considerable interest and enthusiasm and we are rapidly expanding throughout the UK, EU, and US.
Responsibilities
• Interact with our internal systems, service providers and international customers to implement, maintain and restore services
• Perform daily maintenance tasks on various servers and systems, mainly consisting of VMWare, Linux, and Windows (IIS)
• Deploy new software versions (following predefined procedures on IIS and Linux/Apache/MySQL)
• Create and manage users in our Asterisk (Trixbox/FreePBX) phone system
• Create and manage users in our Unix environment
• Maintain the various backup systems around our network
• Respond to network down emergencies (as alerted by our monitoring system)
• Manage our VMware server farms

Requirements
• Linux system administration
• MSSQL Server
• MySQL
• IIS
• Apache
• VMware (Currently VMware Server, however we are moving to ESXi)
• VOIP – Asterisk
The following certifications would be preferred:
• Windows MCSA
• VMware VCP
• CompTIA, LPI, Novell Corporation, or Red Hat, Inc – or equivalent
