The below is our client’s chief introduction,
A renowned multinational Company, works in solar power equipment
The company`s head office is in Hongkong, it is the business center and information center. The other main office (Tech Dept. / Detecting center/ Development center) are all in China. France Office is facing to the European markets.
Our client is now looking for Technical Director urgently
Job title Technical Director
Working Place 60%– SHANGHAI + 40% EUROPE
Ideal age 32 – 40 years old
Graduation Master II or above in Engineering, Preferable in Electricity, Electronic, Microelectronics or Applied materials
Skills and experience requirements
• At least 5 years work experience in Engineering Preferable in Electricity, Electronic, Microelectronics or Applied materials
• PV, solar energy experience or background will be a plus
• At least 2 years’ experience team management, technical team preferred
• Available for very frequent international travels.
• Super acid international communication and coordination capacity.
• Outstanding management team with the ability to inspire and lead the team to complete challenging tasks,
• The sensibility of technology tendency and forward-looking capacity
Strong oral/written communication skills in English
Languages
Minimum = English
Another European language appreciated
Report to CEO
Responsibilities
As the leader of technical department, you are in charge of:
• Team-building, staff supervision, management and coordination in accordance with company’s technical and product strategy
• QC procedure updates and management to ensure the product quality
• Manufacturing process improvement in production partner’s facilities
• R&D policy and product design/performance updates
• Day-to-day in-house laboratory management
• Technology surveillance and partnership with technology oriented start-up to upgrade company’s product. Responsible for organizing and leading the internal staff research and projects related to new technologies
• Organization of product application research mainly in photovoltaic systems in order to optimize customer technical support
• Partnership with external test bodies to strengthen the product reliability image.
