Smoe stands for the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education organized and run by the government of South Korea. As of 2004, SMOE accommodates 2,210 schools with 1,573,684 students and 72,711 teachers. SEOUL Public schools (Elementary, Middle & High schools)
Starting date: 2009. August 25 ~
(one week paid orientation is provided to all hired teachers who arrive on time)
Working days: MON ~ FRI
Working hours: 8:30AM ~ 4:30PM
Teaching hours: 22 hours / per week
Salary: 1.8 ~ 3.0 million Korean won per month
(depends on qualification, attached file, so please check your salary in advance)
Vacations: 21 working days paid vacation / year
Airfare: Round trip provided
(After arrive in Korea, 1.3 million Korean won provided first)
Housing: Fully furnished single housing or housing allowance (500,000won per month)
Benefits: 300,000won settlement pay
100% severance pay (1 month bonus)
50% medical insurance
50% national pension plan supported
