Our client is one of the most prestigious Employers in Qatar. They are now seeking an experienced Webmaster for a permanent role based in Doha, Qatar.
The role reports directly to the IT Consultant.
The Webmaster is responsible for all activities related to the creation, design, development and maintenance of the Organisations’ Internet and Intranet sites.
Responsibilities include:
1. The incorporation of subject matter into the web pages
2. The selection of web design tools
3. The publication of web pages on internet and intranet websites
4. The coordination of activities to vendors webmasters involved in website development and maintenance
5. You will also ensure the redevelopment and design of the Organisation’s new website and Intranet systems
Other requirements in the role include:
1. Creating content and developing web pages
2. Applies software tools for developing web pages
3. Test, identifies and remedies any problems for new and existing web pages
4. Ensures web pages and the website are accessible and operational at all times
5. Coordinates 3rd party technical expertise for resolution of specific technical issues
6. Creates reports to analyze to monitor website usage and performances
7. Works with staff and community members to identify themes and types of content for publication on internet and intranet sites
8. Evaluates tools for maintaining and developing web pages
To apply for the role you will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
You will also possess 4+ years software development experience of developing and designing e-commerce applications and project development experience including full lifecycle development.
You should also have experience developing, designing and planning large project websites from scratch – and project managed them; consulting with stakeholders and gathering user input.
• Has possibly outsourced parts of the project but is capable of doing them him/herself
• Can test and benchmark the site
• Is artistic and creative, a good listener who is open to criticism
• Has experience using Sharepoint (this is essential)
• Produces modern and interesting work – we’re looking for a wow factor!
In return you will receive a TAX FREE salary between $50k- $55k USD TAX FREE plus excellent benefits.
