Hello,
My name is Gautam Doshi and I operate as an independant head hunter specializing in the Animation & Visual Effects space only.
I am on the lookout for Creature Simulation Artists for a reputed animation studio in Singapore. This is a fully-paid training program and the respective individual must perform during the training program to be considered for a final placement at the Studio
Position Summary:
To further artists` abilities to set up and run simulations related to CG characters including cloth, flesh-surface, hair, and rigid body simulations with the intention of working on production shots once training is completed.
Basic Skills:
Set up and run proprietary cloth, hair, flesh surfaces and rigid body simulations
Basic proficiency in another discipline -modeling, texture, lighting or animation
Create dynamic simulations in packages such as Maya, 3ds Max, or XSI.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor`s degree/Professional Diploma or equivalent in Computer animation, Digital media, Computer visualization or Computer Science required
Expertise with Maya and/or other high-end animation software is required
Scripting and Linux experience is desirable.
Familiar with CG fundamentals and terminology is preferred
Demo reel demonstrating artistic and technical ability is required for this role.
