Our client is searching for an underwriter ideally with Motor Underwriting experience although someone with life underwriting would be considered. You will possess a strong understanding of underwriting principles and experience of a wide range of technical issues, including the construction of policy wordings. In addition to this you will hold an awareness of the market and legal/industry developments with the ability to underwrite proficiently. It is essential that your problem solving ability is efficient through good organisation and demonstrating good attention to detail. Self motivation and the drive to take responsibility and make decisions/recommendations, as appropriate will be required.
Salary up to 35k
