This internship will introduce you to cutting-edge renewable energy campaigns going on in the Bay Area and teach you valuable skills such as communication, grassroots campaigning, and volunteer recruitment through community organizing.
What We Do:
Organize Community Meetings
-educate the community about issues that affect them
-empower people by giving them opportunities to be engaged in the community
Attend City Council Meetings
-gain civic fluency
-participate in the democratic process
Letter Gathering/Statement of Support
-educate community members about current issues
-give a voice to the community
Attend and Help out at Fundraising Events
-House Parties
-Community Events
Volunteer Recruitment and Member Updates
-recruit volunteers to participate in events
-update members on important issues
