Purpose Of Role:
Assist the Assistant Director in overseeing the operations and maintenance of the managed properties.
Responsibilities:
Project manage renovation and alteration works;
Develop and implement maintenance management plans;
Manage a team of multi-disciplinary technical staff to execute planned and ad-hoc maintenance work;
Participate in MEP design and oversee testing and commissioning of building services installations;
Provide technical support to portfolio and building management teams.
Tasks And Activities:
Implement and oversee maintenance management plans for HVAC, plumbing and drainage, fire and all electrical installations;
Prepare and manage department budget;
Vet all technical service contracts;
Review maintenance/service practices of MEP consultants/contractors and ensure delivery of quality work practices in line with company policy;
Oversee inventory control;
Analyze plant or equipment faults/downtime, rectify them and develop preventive measures as appropriate;
Develop and recommend building and systems operating modes that promote energy saving and protection of the environment;
Plan rosters and supervise activities of technical staff;
Monitor staff performance, arrange and conduct training courses for staff;
Monitor cost, progress and safety of work;
Liaise with government offices to ensure all installations comply with government requirements.

Employees supervised: approximately 60
Facilities management: approximately 360,000 sqm;

| Capacités Requises: |
University graduate in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering with relevant professional qualification or equivalent;
At least 8 years post qualification experience in facility management / property maintenance, three of which are at supervisory level;
Possesses solid experience in commercial building maintenance;
Have excellent people skills and possesses the capability to work collectively with both internal and external parties;
A proven track record in managing and leading a team of technical staff;
Strong knowledge of EHS, sustainability and energy efficiency is required;
Familiar with MS Office and AutoCAD;
Good command of English and Mandarin;
Willing to work during non office hours and public holidays when the need arises.
