Production Engineer Manager
I have been retained by my client that is a major played in global Wind energy to source
A Manufacturing Engineering Manager with a fiberglass composites background for a
Plant in Canada. Must speak French.
This position will provide leadership and direction to a staff of engineers that provides technical support required to achieve operations excellence through Lean manufacturing methods. The position will receive direction from the Director of Engineering in and will work closely with the Operations manager and production manager.

| Capacités Requises: |
Responsibilities:
• Direct daily activities and project direction of Engineers and Technicians
• Facilitate technical communications throughout the company including Training, Global Mfg Engineering, Production, Quality, and Local and Global Management
• Oversee all production engineering and Department continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure alignment of Department personnel’s PMP Objectives toward Group and BU Strategic Objectives
• Coordinate the transfer of new technologies from LMDK to LMND.
• Manage Engineering Change process for BU
• Any other function as determined by the company from time to time.
Requirements:
• Must speak French.
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Ten years progressively responsible manufacturing experience including supervision of employees
• In-depth knowledge of Engineering documentation and Quality Systems
• Comprehensive experience and knowledge of Composite Product Manufacturing, Design, and Engineering
• Computer literacy
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Lean or Lean Six Sigma training preferred
