Job Purpose:
To assist medical doctors in their tasks, deal with emergencies in their absence, and provide professional nursing care for the sick, injured, physically and mentally disabled, and others in need of such care. Provide safe, high quality Nursing care appropriate to the specific needs of patients of Norway and guide the practice of less experienced staff.
Types of Specialties
• General Medicine: Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Palliative Care. Challenging Behavior, Rehabilitation, Renal, Hospital in the Home, Diabetes, Hyperbaric Nursing, Coronary Care etc
• Surgery: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Peri-Operative Care
• Critical Care: Intensive Care, High Dependency
• Emergency

| Capacités Requises: |
• The applicant should posses formal qualifications that are appropriate for:
1. The Norwegian Registration Authority for Health Personnel (SAFH);
2. Authorization to practice as a midwife if working in maternity.
Transfer of qualifications:
Nurses who have obtained their nursing qualification in EEA shall need in order to qualify:
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (native language and translated into English)
• Min. 2-3 years experience
• B2 level of a Scandinavian language (Norwegian or Swedish preferred)
!OBS: Surgery nurses and psychiatry nurses will need along with their nursing degree a specialization training on the field.
