Overall Purpose Of The Job
Responsible for developing, growing and managing the bank’s Trade Finance portfolio while ensuring provision of seamless and quality service to the bank’s Trade Finance customers.
Main Activities And Tasks
• Formulation, development and implementation of the bank’s Trade Finance Strategy, products and plans while continuously reviewing performance against set targets;
• Undertaking product development to grow the product portfolio and ensure that the new products are customer driven
• Management of transactional risks inherent with Trade-Related deals
• Development of account relationships which will provide a stable steam of high value and low risk transactions;
• Leveraging of credit and non-credit trade products to maximize returns from customers as well as development of new trade finance product programs to meet specific customer requirements;
• Monitoring of market and competitor activities collate new information on Trade Finance trends to facilitate competitive pricing of Trade Finance products and early tapping of potential businesses
• Marketing and selling Trade Finance products and services through branches and subsidiaries
• Origination, structuring and placement of Trade-Related deals
• Managing, coach mg and developing a high-performance team to meet set deliverables

| Capacités Requises: |
Education / Professional Qualifications:
• Business graduate from an accredited University with preferably with a major in Marketing
• Proven experience of at least four years in a senior position in Trade Finance
• Additional professional qualifications in Trade Finance will be an added advantage
• Strong background knowledge of Trade Finance Products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong networking skills, for both internal and external networks

Experience
• A minimum of 3 years in a similar position in a leading bank.
