The Director of Animation will lead a large team of staff and fellow animators in carrying out a wide range of recreation activities and entertainment for the Resort guests. Duties will involve developing weekly/monthly recreation/entertainment plans for the different categories of guests, including nightly shows and concerts, themed dinners, poolside activities and entertainment, fitness programmes, discos, teenagers activities and kids club activities. The Director of Animation will be responsible for managing and coaching his/her team in the implementation of the various activities and entertainments; ensuring the safety aspects of all activities; keeping a strong focus on guest satisfaction and enjoyment; maintaining team spirit, enthusiasm and morale among the staff team and, above all, creating the kind of atmosphere around the Resort that is condusive to having an entertaining, enjoyable and FUN holiday.

| Capacités Requises: |
* Must have 3-5 years` experience in recreation/activities management - including children`s recreation activities - in a large luxury resort;
* Club Med or similar resort concept experience would be an advantage;
* Must have good knowledge and experience in a reasonable range of outdoor sport and leisure activities
* Sound knowledge of land/water sports and recreation safety and emergency procedures would be a plus;
* Outgoing personality, genuine attitude with inherent love for people and service
* Must be familiar with the use of a variety of props, costumes, sets, sound systems and microphones and be able to act as MC, DJ or lead entertainer when required.
