Position Title: Senior Manager, Human Resources
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Description: The incumbent will be involved in all human resources functions including Recruiting, Employee Relations, Training, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and Administration.
Responsibilities:
· Ongoing analysis to assess practices, strategic program development, creation of policies and procedures, support of company values and culture, support of HR legal requirements, compilation and analysis of HR metrics and project management
· Partner with the Managing Director in Japan and act as the Business Partner to coach management and support the achievement of business results
Qualifications: The incumbent should possess strong written and verbal communication (both Japanese & English) skills. Ability to work effectively with remote organizations and strong teamwork skills are required.
1. Generalist experience, including Business Partner/ Organizational Development support role
2. Management experience
3. Experience in coaching management teams
4. Hands-on role in all human resources functions
5. Experience in leading and driving implementations of HR processes and initiatives by using effective project management skill
6. Experience working in a high tech industry for a global company
7. Knowledge of Japanese legal and statutory requirements and/or strong network of contacts
8. Good TOEIC scores
