Title: Business Analyst or Developer
Location: Bonn, Germany
Position: Full Time
Position will be at client premises and the role will have direct contact with the client mostly the in-house BAs on the day to day tasks ahead. One will be part of a 5 to 10 person strong Cognizant team, with an international character, all present at the client location consisting of Architects, BA`s/IA`s and a PM and working together with an offshore team in India.
Key responsibilities
• Write Functional Specifications Documents, Own the change management process
• Make sure all specification documents are always up to date
• Make sure RFC`s are impacted properly
• Discuss functional solution directions with the client
• Share the functional knowledge with the offshore team, provide clarifications
• Business Requirements gathering and definition
• Writing Software Requirement Specification Documents
• Developing knowledge of Business Processes and sharing it with the technical team
Client Management
• Builds effective working relationship with the client / client`s interface; dexterity in external interpersonal dealing.
• Understands and responds to client`s priority needs for service and support; ensures individual customer needs are met.
• Takes command appropriately; enterprising and effectively persuasive in all business dealings.
• Guides the client in managing the system requirements properly.
• Able to influence attitudes and opinions of others and gain agreement to proposals, plans and ideas; skilful at negotiating.
Business Development
• Contributes to the growth of a Line of Business, Solution Offering, Territory etc., directly or through participation in client presentations, preparation of project plans, proposals, estimations, marketing and intellectual collaterals, gathering of competitor intelligence etc.
• Is able to detect new opportunities from client discussions
Other General skills
• Excellent communicative skills, Excellent understanding of German language
• Excellent verbal and textual English skills
