| Description: |
Job Purpose: To manage and grow Texas Trees Foundation portfolio of foundation, government and corporate donors and sponsors and oversee the annual appeal to meet the Texas Trees Foundation strategic fundraising and marketing objectives.
Essential Functions:
Fund Development
• Develop and implement long-range fundraising plans in partnership with the Executive Director and appropriate management staff to meet organizational strategic goals.
• Research opportunities and develop strategies for cultivation and solicitation of corporate, government and foundation grants and individual gifts for program, operating and capital support.
• Develop relationships and maintain communications with donors and prospects
• Maintain a donor tracking system including gift updates, tracking of gifts and pledges, prospecting information, and other fundraising records
• Update current and draft all new grant proposals to foundations, agencies, corporations and organizations to meet annual fundraising goals.
• Develop appropriate supporting materials, including budgets.
• Draft all reports to funders
• Develop annual report
• Oversee planning and implementation of general appeal to individuals
• Coordinate donor recognition
Marketing & Community Relations
• Lead the development of an annual marketing program to support fundraising efforts and organizational visibility
• Manage the use of the TTF branding and identity
• Interpret the organizations programs and services to the community and the mass media
• Oversee the development of all marketing communication materials including an annual report and the TTF website
• Plan and carry out public relations events with contracted public relations firm
• Direct the management of the TTF website

Staff Management
• Supervise Volunteer Coordinator
• Direct and manage art (The Trail Drive) sales representative

| Capacités Requises: |
Qualifications/Skills Required: The successful candidate will posses:
• A Bachelor’s degree with considerable experience or background in
o Development & fundraising
o Grant writing
o Community Relations
o Data base management
• The proven ability to create effective, high quality funding proposals.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
• Analytical and computer application skills including fundraising databases and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with a high attention to details
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• 4-6 years experience in non-profit, including fundraising, marketing and/or communications
• Participate as a member of the TTF Management Team with strong leadership traits; such as ability to give/receive constructive feedback, critical thinking skills, and confidence in taking initiative
• Maintains a positive attitude
• Commitment to the mission of the Texas Trees Foundation
