Position : Cost Control Engineer
Job Summary/Scope
Position details:
The Cost Control Engineer will work within the Project Control team of the Gendalo-Gehem project and report to the Project Control Manager.
The position will actively engage with various stakeholders including discipline leads and engineering contractors to ensure alignment, influence work direction and mature the project through CPDEP phase 3 to project sanction and execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Cost Control Engineer is deirectly involved in all stages of the project starting from FEED procurement & execution to EPCI execution. The scope includes interaction within the Project team between different disciplines and sub-teams; and with the FEED and EPC contractors.
The Cost Control Engineer shall be responsible for the following activities:
• Independently maintaining detailed budgeted Cost database of the project.
• Monitoring budgeted cost versus actual spent by cost centers.
• Forecast the cost to completion by cost centers.
• Updated the cost database on a day to day basis by interacting with Project team members and recording cost incurred and likely to be incurred on each cost centre.
• Compiling the costs for AFEs preparation.
• Generating Cost S curves Planned, Actual and Forecast. Preparing the Cash flow statement for the project.
• Monthly cost report preparation highlighting the Cost overruns (if any) and forecasting likely overruns (if any) for project team to take necessary steps.
• Assisting Project Control Manager / Coordinator in cost control measures.
• Scrutinizing the invoices received from vendors and contractors.

| Capacités Requises: |
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering – or its equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years experience out of which 10 years in Cost Control of major capital projects (above USD 1 Billion) of Offshore Oil & Gas processing facilities, preferably in deepwater projects.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Access, Oracle, SAP, Kildrummy Cost Manager. |
