Position : Estimation Engineer
Job Summary/Scope
Position details:
The Estimation Engineer will work within the Project Control team of the Gendalo-Gehem project and report to the Project Control Manager.
The Position will actively engage with various stakeholders including discipline leads and to ensure alignment, influence work direction and mature the project through CPDEP phase 3 to project sanction and execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Estimation Engineer is directly involved in all stages of the project starting from FEED procurement & execution to EPCI execution. The scope includes interaction within the Project team between different disciplines and sub-teams; and with the FEED and EPC contractors.
The Estimation Engineer shall be responsible for the following activities:
• Independently developer detailed (Class 2 and Class 3) estimates per work breakdown structure of the project.
• Verify the available cost estimates, update and maintain.
• Establish and update the Project estimation database.
• Update the estimates periodically in line with changes taking place in the project and market conditions and maintain a change register.
• Compare the approved / baseline estimates with revised estimates and provide justifications.
• Estimate monthly, annual and 3 years look ahead budgets for the project in consultation with the team members.
• Report preparation highlighting the changes in cost estimates.
• Assist project Control Manager in Project Budget updates.
• Verify and challenge the estimates if contractors.

| Capacités Requises: |
Requirement
• Bachelor degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering – or its equivalent
• Minimum 20 years experience out of which 10 years in estimation of FEED and EPCI contracts costs of major capital projects (above USD 1 Billion) of Offshore Oil & Gas processing facilities, preferably in deepwater Projects.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Access and Oracle. |
