Electromechanical Tendering Manager - Qatar
Ref: 3975
This is a good chance to join an International Construction Group and to work in a mixed-cultural environment in the Gulf.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Liaison with the Electromechanical DM in works related to tender estimation of electromechanical works contracts.
Liaise with Regional Civil & Marine Tender Manager regarding related estimation of multidiscipline contracts.
Manage others involved in technical, commercial and contractual aspects.
Reviews tender docs, time schedules and BoQs.
Prepare estimates of required resources and costs and workout construction methodologies and subcontracting requirements.
Liaise with clients and ensure optimum tender price as well as effective post award hand over.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical (preferable), or Electrical Engineering.
Ten years experience in construction (heavy industrial, electromechanical projects) three years of which in a similar position.
Good knowledge of project execution methodology.
High sense of cost awareness.
Excellent command of English.
Literate in computers, particularly estimation programs.
Able to travel extensively and work outside regular work schedule.
