The company:
Leading international construction group, operating throughout the Gulf Region. Involved industrial, Petchem, Oil and Gas, Heavy Civil / Marine Engineering projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Quality Dept. Manager you will be providing assistance to the Project Management Team to achieve the effective implementation and standards of the quality requirements.
This includes but is not limited to:
Ensure implementation of the Site Quality Control Plan.
Verification that all QC requirements of the Contract and the relevant Employer`s/ Superintending Officer`s instructions are being followed.
Ensure that the QC Plan documentation, testing and inspection records are properly maintained.
Monitor and define quality problem areas and propose corrective actions to the Project Management Team.
Monitor and define Health, Safety and Environmental problem areas and take corrective actions in coordination with the Project Management Team.
Supervise a multi-national team of QC Engineers and Inspectors.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar position within a construction company is required.
Experience in electrical completion, management of a multi- disciplined quality control team and used to working in remote locations. Must be assertive and able to be antonymous whilst on site.
