Our client:
Our client, one of the leading international construction groups, with worldwide diversified activities, offers a full range of services in engineering and construction projects. The firm`s evolution over a 50-year span is reflected in its continuing record of achievements performing major civil, industrial and electromechanical projects worldwide.
On behalf of the client, we are looking for Estimating/Tendering Manager to work in Ajman office of the company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaises with the Regional Manager in works related to tender estimation of civil, marine and electromechanical works contracts
Liaises with the Electromechanical Works Tendering Manager in works related to tender estimation of multi- discipline works contracts
Leads a group of engineers dealing with technical, commercial and contractual aspects of the tender
Reviews tender documents, time schedules and bills of quantities
Prepares estimates of required resources and costs and works out construction methodologies and subcontracting needs
Communicates with clients as required and works for ensuring optimum tender price as well as effective post award hand over

| Capacités Requises: |
University degree in Civil engineering
Ten (10) years experience in construction (heavy civil, marine, industrial) of which at least three (3) in a similar position
Good knowledge of project execution methodology
High sense of cost awareness
Fluency in English
Computer literate particularly in programs relevant to estimation
Ability to travel extensively and work outside regular work schedule |
