To challenge current marketing initiatives in efforts to ensure all initiatives are measurable and create 2010 Marketing Plan.
Description
It is the MC Executive’s mission to work closely with logon management and external Marketing Consultant in order to develop current marketing strategy aiming market / industry leadership. The MC Executive should make his/herself well aware of current marketing strategy and thereafter be the custodian of it, raising challenges and opportunities to management in a timely and efficient manner. The MC Executive then involves the MC team into the bigger picture of the direction of marketing and distributes tasks for implementation to the appropriate members of the team.The MC Executive works closely with management and external MC Consultant, but also with the close support of the MC Coordinator, MC Assistant, the graphic designer /supplier manager and special projects coordinator (when applicable) and relationship assistant to get the job done. This role is considered a senior role for candidates with over 3 years of work experience in marketing and architecture or related industry. Since the role is a leadership role, the candidate must be both likeable and comfortable in giving and following up on tasks with both his/her team and management. The role requires absolute fluency in English (both spoken and written) as well as a good command of Mandarin Chinese. Ideally, the MC Executive already has an understanding of the marketing field in China.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with MC Consultant and logon management to give direction and ensure development of logon marketing strategy
• To be proactive and intentional about understanding logon management expectations and suitable opportunities to push marketing at logon to market and thought leadership levels
• To be thorough in identifying best and most financially viable opportunities and vehicles to promote logon, approve them with management and develop together with MC Consultant, 2010 Marketing Plan
• Be aware or make his/herself familiar with global and China marketing trends, opportunities and external events that might strengthen logon brand building process
• Define team workflow and reporting structure for increased efficiency and productivity
• Provide leadership and distribute tasks to appropriate MC team members and ensure timely and efficient delivery
• When and where needed ensure training of marketing team and / or internal team of architects
• Guide and follow-up with MC team on weekly MC reporting process: Lead team meetings, distribute MC Work-in-Progress report and develop any other necessary metrics required for gauging progress within MC team
• Occasional assist in strategically copywriting English-language marketing texts.
