Music journalism is an incredibly difficult career to get into. But, the more you do, the more likely you are to succeed. Moon & Back Music offers that initial golden experience needed to make your CV stand out from others` and show that you have a genuine passion for the career you seek.
With us, your role as a music journalist is as varied and broad as you would like it to be.
You can publish reviews on gigs, venues, EPs and albums; you will host interviews with both unsigned and signed bands; you will showcase new artists, and you will publicise new and underground remixes.
All articles are written in your own time, with minimal deadlines and at your own pace. You will submit completed articles to the site editor; if they are up to scratch, you will publish your work to our website on the home page in full view of everybody.
Moon & Back Music is rapidly expanding and is looking to take on candidates nationwide to cover as strong and wide a music base as possible. NO experience is required, but we do ask that you have a genuine passion for music and live venues. As broad a musical appreciation is highly advantageous.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a VOLUNTARY position to give you the experience required for your CV to stand out in the journalism world. Remember: voluntary writing shows a genuine passion for the career you are trying to get in to. So why not take the plunge and see how things go?! |
| Capacités Requises: |
Although we do not ask for any formal qualifications, you must have an excellent standard of writing.
You must possess the skill to be able to critically evaluate records and live shows.
You will be proficient in using email.
A knowledge of basic HTML is desirable, but is not essential.
Obviously, a genuine appreciation for a diverse range of music is desired. |
