We currently have an opportunity for an R&D Engineer/ Chemist to join our European R&D department in Leiden. The R&D Engineer / Chemist will primarily be responsible for developing and applying new offerings that help our customers reduce their environmental impact and total cost of operation for waste treatment.
Responsibilities include:
·Developing new programs (initial conception up to the assessment of commercial feasibility) in the area of water and waste treatment that deliver a sustainable advantage to our industrial customers in minimizing use of non-renewable resources and emissions to the environment
·Working as part of a global project team, collaborating closely with researchers worldwide as well as marketing staff, sales representatives and customers
·Getting involved in broader projects related to integral improvement of water, energy and resource management at industrial production facilities

| Capacités Requises: |
The qualifications the candidate will have include:
·Experienced researchers with an MSc or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar
·Experience in industrial water treatment is preferable
·Knowledge of one or more of the following areas is desirable: industrial processes, corrosion, scale deposition prevention, wastewater treatment, process modeling, automation or on-line sensors for water systems, cooling water treatment and boiler water treatment
·Very good style of communication
·Effective teamwork, excellent project management skills
·Strong interest in different nations and cultures
·Willingness to travel throughout Europe
·Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; fluency in at least one other European language is preferred (German, Spanish, Italian, French)
