Job Description & Responsibilities
- Provide best practice support services for the systems under systems production department custody
- Maintain, tune and patch systems for optimum performance and security
- Ensure that standard changes are planned and implemented in a sound low risk manner without causing system outages
- Prepare , maintain system documentations and day to day operations procedure
- Provide 24/7 on call and remote support
- Assist IT Service Management to resolve intermittent and major incidents within agreed SLA
- Provide solutions architecture advise
- Provide technical project management
- Provide support for costing solutions
- Escalate problems and concerns to team leader or senior management
- Maintain , ensure similarity between live systems and disaster recovery systems
- Perform disaster recovery test and flip/flop exercises
- Comply to ITIL standards
- Automat systems jobs
- Ensure systems monitoring (operating systems , performance , databases , application)
- Ensure systems redundancy and highly availability
- Administrating the HP Platform servers like HP Superdome, rp84xx, etc
- Administrating the SUN Platform servers like V/M series
- Administrating the SAN infrastructure
- Administrating Enterprise Backup Solution HP Data Protector
- Troubleshooting skills
- The person will be responsible Maintenance of the HPUX/SUN platforms
- Installation and configuration of Unix application (apache,tomcat, websphear, weblogic,,,etc)
- Scripting and customization of the UNIX administration tools
- Implement solutions by writing scripts.
- Maintain LDAP,DNS,SNMP,SMTP,NTP,proxies on HPUX/Solaris/UNIX

| Capacités Requises: |
• 4+ years of Unix administration experience,
. 4+ Unix Networking Administration
. 2+ Storage Area Network
• Very Good Unix shell scripting skills (I.E. Ksh, bash,csh)
. Very Good on :DNS,LDAP,SNMP,SMTP,sendmail,proxies,apache
Network skills Knowledge of TCP networking model
Experience with UNIX Operating Systems:
• HPUX 11.11 HPUX 11.31
. SUN Solaris 9 and above
. Linux
Storage Skills:
. Experience in SAN ( Storage Area Network)
. Experience with BROCADE switches
. EMC Storage Boxes Symmetrix/Clariion/Celera
. Volume Group Manager of Unix
. Work on Backup and recovery tools
Scripting Languages:
• Shell scripting
. If possible PERL scripting
. If possible Java scripting
