Job Description
CB&I Lummus has job opportunities for Senior Health, Safety & Environment Engineers, based at its headquarters in The Hague, The Netherlands.
The main areas of responsibility are:
- Translating contractual requirements to (HSE) activities on the job and ensuring that HSE performance guarantees are well-incorporated in the design.
- Preparing of HSE philosophies, HSE execution plans and HSE studies.
- Delivering (conceptual) designs of systems related to fire safety, explosion protection and control of toxic releases.
- Performing computer calculations, interpretation and optimisation of results.
- Acting as a focal point for all HSE related questions, including economics.
- Preparing of process and mechanical design specifications of HSE equipment, lines and instruments.
- Participating in or leading screening meetings and communications with other disciplines to verify and ensure that HSE requirements are well-understood and properly taken care of by all parties concerned.
- Preparing of proposal write-ups and HSE scope definitions.

| Capacités Requises: |
- You have 10 years experience as an HSE Engineer, preferably in the refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry.
- You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil).
- You have proven to be able to work in a team of people with different background and roles. International and/or managerial experience is a plus.
- You are able to express yourself clearly in the English language, both in writing and speech.
- You have shown to have strong analytical skills to solve complex problems and you know how to organise your work effectively to achieve good results.
- You have proven to be creative, precise and innovative in finding solutions to (technical) problems. You like to share and discuss problems with other people.
- You can provide a letter of reference testifying to your performance from a past or current employer. |
