| Description: |
A fast growing Financial Institution based in London is looking for a Group Financial Accountant who has experience with IAS39 and Sox.
Your role will be to manage the head office accounts / trial balance, ensuring that they are both accurate and reported in accordance with the working day 3 timetable. Ensure that the Group¡¦s accounting policies are complied with. Ensure that robust controls and procedures are in place to result in the production of high quality, reliable information, for both internal and external reporting requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
„x Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reports to the parent company in Japan.
„X Prepare an audit information file for the quarterly and annual audits as well as providing ongoing assistance and explanations to ensure that the audit process is completed within the timeframe.
„X Perform the IAS39 hedge testing and revaluation of derivatives on a quarterly basis.
„X Assist the treasury department with accounting for derivatives and hedging transactions.
„X Assist in the production of the notes for inclusion in the Group Annual Financial Statements and Annual Report.
„X Monitor all accounts in the head office trial balance to ensure all items are reconciled and comply with the Group¡¦s accounting policies and relevant accounting standards.
„X Co-ordinate SOX self-certification for head office finance and own/maintain the key SOX controls.
„X Provide required information to the Head of Tax for the Corporation Tax, PAYE and VAT returns for the Group.
„X Manage the accounts payable team to ensure that invoices and employee expense claims are processed and paid within the agreed payment terms. Ensure that supplier statements are reconciled on a monthly basis.
„X Manage the finance team which is responsible for:
- Head office reconciliations and trial balance
- Accounts payable.

| Capacités Requises: |
Must have IAS39 experience and ideally an understanding of SOX requirements.
Previous experience of Oracle Financials would be an advantage.
Member of a recognised accounting body essential (ACA preferred). |
