Project : Total Usan
Usan project is a new field development in 750 m water depth and 100 km south of the Nigerian coast.
USAN is being developed with 42 subsea wells connected to a 2MMbbls storage FPSO via 2 production loops, 2 water injection lines and 1 gas injection line.
The Usan project involves an FPSO, sub-sea production systems, underwater flowlines and risers, export system and completion works will be executed in several international sites, including Nigeria.
Tasks
1.Follow-up the construction of UFR and Buoy activities in Nigeria and ensure the contract applies (both project specifications and schedule).
2.Monitor performance of NDE in terms of quality and frequency, ensuring conformity with relevant specifications and codes.
3.Identify the critical activities and bottleneck for the progress of the modules related to welding. Anticipate; propose solutions.
4.Follow up the NDE activities of UFR and Buoy and insure proper records (NDE/inspection records follow-up).
5.Review all NDE reports and interpret all of radiography films in addition to the third party interpretation. Monitor NDE execution like DP, MPI, RT, UT and AUT.
6.Monitoring of NDT subcontractor and Contractor inspectors qualification and performance.
7.Be the focal point with the Project NDT Engineer.
Monitors the implementation of safety procedures and working practices by Contractor. Special follow-up on Gamma/X-Ray.
Location :Port Harcourt, then offshore
Duration : 18 months min
Status : rotational 4 weeks on x 4 weeks off

| Capacités Requises: |
Qualification: HND/HNC graduate or Degree qualified – Discipline: Offshore structural, piping and vessel specialist
Professional Experience: 10-15 years experience with Project background within Oil & Gas industry. Construction experience is required on structural, piping and vessel installations.
Experience on construction yard in construction contractor team is required. Experience on West African yards a plus.
Minimum 5 years experience in all aspects of Equipments and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as ISO, API, ASTM and ASME.
Qualification level II on UT, RT and MPI as per EN 473.
Formal training in the time of flight diffraction techniques and automated ultrasonic testing.
Welding knowledge / Certificate would be an added advantage.
An autonomous supervisor with strong skill in Ommiscanner system for Pipe welding Control |
