Job Specifications
B.Tech (any discipline) / Post graduate in Sciences – required
Post graduation in Management desirable
8 -15 years experience in handling Margarine/Shortening plant
Man management skills & experience in leading a team
Role Description
· Responsible for delivering Production Plan in terms of quality, quantity and time.
· Ensure capacity utilization of plant to improve efficiencies.
· Ensure uptime of plant and machinery especially through reduction in change over time and adequate line balancing.
· Ensure that the plant area adheres to laid down safety and hygiene standards, and disposal of effluent.
· Set up measurement for computing in process wastages and work towards its elimination including energy and other consumables.
· Implementation & co-ordination of TPM in Margarine Plant.
· Determine lay-out, line-balancing needs for quality productivity and efficiency improvements.
· Ensure optimum manning strategies, multi skilling and high degree of work men motivation.
