Kelly Scientific, “Partner of your career, is looking for his client, a Chemical Company, a
Business Development Manager Custom Synthesis (m/f)
This challenging and interesting function:
•Establishes contact with potential customers and identifies new business opportunities
•Plans and carries out customer visits and sales discussions including price negotiations within a framework agreed upon with the Head of Global Sales & Marketing
•Supports project management at customers by building strong relationships within customer’s organization
•Advises customers on all commercial and technical questions and problems within the scope
of the project
•Observes product development activities of competitors (patents, new products, quality
standards) and analyzes competitor’s products in coordination with CS Marketing
•Analyzes leading trends occurring in industries and recommends direction for future
development and product research to enhance long-term future profitability
•Works closely with other functions to ensure that business development activities are fully
supported by other functions
•Together with Quality & Regulatory, ensures compliance with cGMPs and DEA regulations

| Capacités Requises: |
We look for a professional with the following profile:
•B.S. degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
•Post-graduate work or equivalent experience
•10+ years related experience in the pharmaceutical business and a minimum of 5 years in
sales and/or business development
•5+ years experience in Custom Synthesis Industry
•proven ability to manage complex projects with customers
•proven ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision
We look for someone with strong professional communication skills in English, French would be an additional asset. There is a requirement for travel.
