Job Title: Senior Hydrology/Storm Drainage Design Engineer

Requirements: Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Proven ability in the supervision and management of a team with regard to all design aspects from Master Planning, Concept, Preliminary and Final Design stages for roads & residential development projects.
• Knowledge and experience in performing drainage/hydrological studies for various types of mega developments in rural areas including the design of storm water culverts and drainage networks.
• Ability to collect, analyse and validate relevant design data and the ability to formulate relevant reports, specifications and quantity estimates.
• Capability to review design documents, provide technical guidance and support where required and maintain quality standards as appropriate.
Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering within a minimum of 12 years post graduate experience in drainage systems. Masters qualifications will be viewed favorably.
Working knowledge with relevant AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) and British standards is essential.
It is expected that successful candidates will have practical exposure to relevant computer software / analysis tools such as: Infoworks, StormCAD, Winstorm, EPA-SWMM, HEC-2, HEC-RAS and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Experience: Registration of a recognized Professional Engineering Board such as PE (Professional Engineer) or C.Eng (Chartered Engineer) is highly desirable.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous.
