Manager Of Asian Operations
Arden Companies, a growing national manufacturer of consumer outdoor patio products has an opening for a bi-lingual Manager of Asian Operations located in Gongming, Shenzhen, China. This position reports directly to the Vice President, C.O.O. Of Asian Operations and will be responsible for coordinating manufacturing operations, technical team activities and the quality program as well as provide guidance and support to the Vice President, C.O.O.Of Asian Operations. The candidate will also assist in sourcing product.
Areas Of Responsibilities:
• Ensure production capacity and inventory targets are met and that product shipments between facilities (transfers) are executed cost-effectively and on schedule.
• Ensure all products meet quality requirements, and oversee the quality assurance processes.
• Provide leadership to ensure projects are completed on time and the team provides value to its customers.
• Assist in managing records, communicate manufacturing information and generate reporting
• Assist in directing and coordinating operation within company policies and procedures.
• Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
• Provide manufacturing cost estimates to the product marketing team.
• Work with partnering facilities to develop company wide best practices.

| Capacités Requises: |
Minimum Knowledge And Skills Required:
• Knowledge of process control and material quality control theory and applications in a production environment.
• Proficient with MS Office suite of products: Excel, Word, and Power Point. Working knowledge of MS Access strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate affectively, both verbally and in writing.
Educational, licensing, or special certifications needed:
• four year degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or similar technical field.
• Minimum 5-7 years in the manufacturing environment.
• Five plus years of production management experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and Chinese in both verbal and written skills.
• Committed to a traveling work schedule averaging 3-5 days per week during peak operational months (August – March)
