Work closely with project managers and AutoCad department to coordinate securing plans for railcar.
Coordinate and order material needed for securing cargo to railcars and/or heavy haul trucking
Coordinate with welders on times and location of projects.
Contact rail inspectors for rail inspection. Review and confirm measurments.
Review all heavy haul plans for all projects.
Review all crane and rigging plans for all projects.
Coordinate site surveys and meetings.
Calculate center of gravity of railcars.
Perform mechanical engineering duties.
update project managers when on a job.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be willing to travel. |

Mechanical engineering experiance needed. Railroad expericance a plus but not needed. |
