Overall Responsibilities
Develop strategic goals for manufacturing excellence. Facilitates systematic improvements in manufacturing and engineering to ensure effective operations and achievement of plant level objectives.
Recruits, trains, and develops managerial talent in Manufacturing, Test Engineering and Process Engineering.
Assists Operations Manager in creation of plant level forecast with respect to Manufacturing Operations and the associated variance analysis monthly.
Promotes and ensures continuous improvement in plant level operations.
Co-establish clear direction for new Process Engineering Manager.
Assist development and roll out of Flexible Manufacturing initiative
Identify or assess manufacturing operations initiatives and if accepted as necessary, prioritize, make sure sufficient resources are available, and that plans are adequate and carried out.
Assure appropriate, documented training plans for each level within the three functions for which responsible
Perform quarterly reviews for direct report staff.
Manages the following staff:
• Manufacturing Engineering Manager
• Test Engineering Manager
• Quality Engineering Manager
• Manufacturing Manager
• Industrial Engineering Manager

| Capacités Requises: |
Required Skills:
- University Degree (mechanic, engineering)
- Strong technical background
- From 8 years experience in production including work as a head of maintenance and project functions
- Strong attention to details and problem solving skills
- strategic vision, leadership, decision-making, negotiation, interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task.
