    Report to: Operations Manager, Area Manager

    Main Tasks: The main tasks of this position are to assist the HSE to co-ordinate Health and
    Safety and Environmental issues.

    • Execute the HSE Manager orientations.
    • Keep the HSE Manager by any HSE related issue.
    • Oversee implementation of SMART program on rig-site

    • Provide information to Management on accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to established Company and Operator procedures.

    • Participation in local HSE groups, to include operators, government and other drilling contractors

    • Conducts all daily / weekly / monthly HSE checks ( hygiene, fire extinguishers, slings, …etc)
    • To create training schedules and initiatives to ensure maintenance of 100 % compliance.

    • To maintain open dialogue with local crews and serve as a venue to convey Company’s culture.

    • Consultation with outside experts on QHSE matters when required.

    • Participate in Regulatory, Operator and Internal QHSE audits.


    Operations Engineer (Current)
    Reports to: Operations Manager, Area Manager
    Main Tasks: Assist the area operations with specific needs which pertain to drilling, logistics and assist managers in realm of related coordination and action when needed.
    Maintaining internal and external reporting according to established systems. Area and HQ.
    Provide support to Rig Managers and operations

    • Reimbursable: Remind Rig Mangers to issue the appropriate reimbursable items as per the contract of each rig. Gathering all reimbursable sign off sheets and the fuel receipts and any related items added as variation order. Check, record and submit to Finance on monthly basis to enable them accrual and prepare the notice of invoice in timely manner.


    • Performing Contracted Field Direct Operating Roaster (Headcount).

    • Oversee orientation and required training & manage the administrative HR functions for all non-exempt employees.

    • Travel Expenses: Receive expense claims from the locals/Expats and check anomalies, prepare the expense with currency rate conversion and give to Operations Manager to approve, once endorsed expenses to be paid through the finance. Occurring questionable remarks will be addressed by email to the concerned expense holder /HR/ Training for further explanation prior approval and process.
    • Petty Cash: Issue and prepare petty cash when required.
    • Updating remote locations and rig site with fuel requirement and issuing queries to logistics and procurement dept.
    • Inspections: Procure and schedule all required third party services and equipment to support field operations. Plan, book flight and escort for Nizer, AMOSCO inspectors and crew to go on locations and inspect equipments accordingly. Get reports of inspections and distribute to the rig, office and Asset files depts.
    • Manage, in conjunction with the Warehouseman, the inventory of the Well control equipment and spares inventory, Mud Pump parts and consumption inventory, PPE inventory for mechanical, electrical and drilling equipments and initiate material requests and material transfers as required.

    • Carry out all duties in the safest possible manner and ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly.

    • Managing a tubular yard *Pipe Yard* (many types, grades, sizes of Casing, tubing, drill pipe, collars, HWDP), responsible of any In/Out equipment to/from wells or town.
    • Responsibility of (Daily Morning reports, POB, Daily Cost, Daily Attachments, IADC Reports, Material Requisitions, Inventories, Corrective Actions Register, Handling Tools Inspection, Truck Pushing, Rig Move, Monthly Take Off sheets, Rig load Analysis Time Plan…)
    • Maintain own certification, professional knowledge and skill level.

    • Rig Move Progressive Reports: gather rig move progressive reports, produce and negotiate contracts with Trucking companies.

    • Maintaining internal and external reporting according to established systems.

    • Monitor compliance with Travel/Journey Management System where applicable.
    • Participation in, and coordination of, rig HSE meetings.

    • Participation in local HSE groups, to include operators, government and other drilling contractors.

    • Weekly Operations Meeting: Prepare the weekly operations meetings minutes and call departments heads to attend, update the actions upon meeting closure.

    • Responsible for adherence to company guidelines.

    • Provide assistance in the preparation of monthly financial accrual and strategic plans when needed.

    • Communicates changes in personnel POB Bid Model and ensures proper compliance is followed.

    • Ensure rig complies with Nabors requirements, and Asset Files tracking.
    • Oversee scheduling crews for regular Safety training as pr QHSE program, including class roaster.
    • Coordinates daily cost tracking and reconciliation to allow the Wells Team to manage within predetermined targets.
    • Assist Wells Team in recording and reporting of performance measures, including scorecard maintenance, benchmarking and key performance indicators.
    • Performance: Prepare operations statistics and performance analysis and reports as required. Tracking wells Record Master and wells database through MyWells online platform and rig reporting to generate the presentations as per managements requirements for clients satisfaction.
    • Tracking all wells Record Master and wells HSE Matrix.
    • Oversee Implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not limited to: Permit to Work System, Lock-Out/ Tag-Out, hazardous Chemical MSDS, PPE System, Benchmarking other required training activities.
    • Doing performance and statistic, curves for the 9 rigs operational in Algeria, collecting drilling data from MyWells platform and issuing curves and graphs reflecting the operations.
    • Cost Control: perform cost estimating, tracking, analyses and reporting, Liaise with Accounts Department to charge company’s overheads (indirect costs) according to company’s overhead allocation system/procedures.
    • Perform cost analysis and advise project leaders on cost over-runs in a timely manner so the corrective actions can be taken. (Catering, Rental, Travel, Fuel consumption, Tubular, Personnel overrun, Rig Move quotes…
