I joined DEXIA asset management as a senior Programmer. I was working with three Teams: Front Office Team, Middle Office team and Referential Team. It was a very challenging position where I had to manage and develop in parallel many different tools concurrently with all three teams.

CALYON MAM / risk management November 2006 at August 2007
Design and development
I was integrated in the team project PIRAT inside the MAM (market activity monitoring) service. This project consisted in completely remodeling the tools for analysis (risk management) based until now on hundreds of sheets EXCEL/VBA. The project was to centralize and organize the data (sensitivities…) useful for the explanation of the P&L by extracting them from the front office systems (Summit, Infinity, Murex, Sophis…) and to visualize them via a single application and common object.

Geoxia May 2006 at October 2006
Design and development
Geoxia is the French marketcleader in house building.
Recruited basically as an “SQL Developer”, I was working in a team “Chaine Travaux” (chain of building). The team was providing a tool for managing/monitoring all the resources, incidents and evolution in the different houses’ life cycle building. This project was very challenging because we were working with 70 servers and 200 databases in a large WAN network. In addition there was a complex organization of master servers, slave servers, main server, referential server, security server and development server. Of course we had complex rules for the data’s repartition and we were using an internal replication to maintain the data system.
Achievements
Debugged and Developed Transact-SQL’s stored procedure and view.
Suggested, designed, developed and used a multithread tool for SQL migration and correction.
Suggested and developed a tool for monitoring the replication’s system (DATA’s control; to be sure all data followed our rules).
Contributed to the realization of an Intranet in ASP.NET(Security and excel report)

I first came to Tokyo out of personal interest, then gradually met some very interesting people and companies and decided to work for one of them (Toyofx). They employed me to solve some IT issues. This company was really open-minded and I was interested in technical analysis because of my previous experience in Technical Futures. I decided to take this “once-in-a-lifetime” chance and started working in the FX business and trading.

I tried to build my own company.
After my mission in Global Equities, as a self-starter, I decided to build my own business which consisted of two activities.
Programmer I worked again with people from Technical Future. I was helping to build Excel sheets (with VBA) for strategy and calculation. (1 year, VBA excel)
I also designed and developed a data system for AutoCAD. (C#, FTP, MSQL express, connection with auto-lisp)
Hardware support On a weekly basis, I was maintaining Hardware for small companies and shops. (Virus, crash, updating hardware…)
Global Equities April at August 2002
Design and development
Global Equities is a professional Broker for equities.
With the approval of Technical Future I was recruited by this company for the setup and adaptation of the main tool I had developed. I built an intranet and a morning letter from analysis. For this I decided to use the new version of Dot NET and to learn and apply OO Programming.
I also was assigned to help the front office by debugging (or developing) Excel spread-sheets (Trader facing support/development).

Technical Future August 2000 at February 2002
Data-processing person in charge
Technical Future was a company selling technical analysis (such as Elliot’s wave) and fundamental analysis. (European and American equities market)
I was in charge of internal development. I created software to manage our analysis product (helped to draw and calculate technical analysis, translate into French, storage, update with market data from CQG, send to websites, PDF letter, html letter). To maintain and update this tool was my main occupation.
My second task was to maintain and update our customer database (MS access).
I also setup a vocal server (Under Unix) for sales passwords for our private customers.
As the senior IT employee, I was leading a team of 3 (including a Web Developer and a technical hardware employee). With them we built 2 websites (one for our private customers and one for professional use), a mini html website (We were selling our analysis via a broker) and many html letters. (Like l`oeil de la bourse). I changed an NT4 Workgroup to a W2K network to improve the data management and to use “User’s right access”.
